About the Artist

CASSANDRA BURTON is a Western Australian Fine Artist. She graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) in 1998 and was accepted into the university's Honours program and was twice selected for inclusion in the Vice-Chancellors list (representing the top 1% of the student population).

Cassandra has won numerous art awards and has had works hung at many galleries around Australia including the Art Gallery of Western Australia and the National Gallery in Canberra. Her works have been purchased by the WA Museum, the Archbishop of Perth for the Catholic Church Collection (x2) and many private collections around Australia and overseas.

Cassandra's art is a response to life and this is reflected in the works of sculpture, painting and drawing.
